I’ve wanted to shoot in Savannah for years now. I absolutely LOVE Savannah, but for whatever reason, I never had the chance… until two weeks ago. Lauren + Patrick’s wedding day was AMAZING and I’m so thankful that Mother Nature blessed them with a gorgeous winter day. After 24 hours of pouring rain, the sun came out just as Lauren stepped into her gown… perfect timing!!
When we were talking through their wedding day timeline, Lauren suggested doing all of their pre-ceremony photos at Bethesda Academy. OMG you guys!! This place is MAGICAL!! I fell in love while I was location scouting and it was everything I envisioned and more on their wedding day! The Spanish Moss, the majestic oak trees, the marsh… I was in heaven! Lauren + Patrick shared a sweet First Look before we took full advantage of Bethesda’s natural beauty for their portraits. Before long, their bridal party arrived for group photos and it was amazing to see them surrounded by so much love + joy.
After a romantic ceremony at their local church, everyone headed to the Plantation Club for their reception. It was a true winter wonderland inside that ballroom, complete with beautiful, tall floral arrangements and flowers literally dripping from the ceiling over the dance floor. HOLY MOLY!!! It was absolutely stunning. Lauren, Patrick, their friends + family danced the night away as Right to Party kept the dance floor packed all night. They were such a fun band – highly recommended!! At the end of the night, Lauren + Patrick exited through a tunnel of sparklers and jumped into a golf cart. I’d say my first wedding in Savannah was a major success and I’m so excited to share some of my favorites from Lauren + Patrick’s magical winter wedding…

Hannah + Matt’s intimate brunch wedding at The Sanctuary on Kiawah was such a special celebration. If there are two things I LOVE, it’s an intimate wedding and brunch! Combine them together and it’s the perfect recipe for a memorable soiree. Can I specialize in brunch weddings? Pretty please?! I just love them! The morning […]
Ashley + Kyle’s wedding day was, in a word, magic. These two share such a beautiful love and I am beyond thankful to have witnessed it first hand. Ashley is pure JOY in human form and she absolutely glows in Kyle’s presence. The way they look at each other and care for each other is […]
From the moment I first spoke to Sandra, I knew her wedding day was going to be something special. She had a clear vision of a day filled with special details, personalized moments, and a celebration of love that was truly unique to her and Matt’s love story. Being in the fashion world, I knew […]
There’s something undeniably magical about Charleston SC. The cobblestone alleyways, the historic charm, and the gentle breeze off of the water – which creates the perfect setting for love to flourish. When I had the opportunity to capture Hannah + Ashley’s engagement session on an overcast day this past September, I knew it would be […]
Hilton Head is a special place to Abby + Greyson, as Abby’s parents live there and she’s been visiting the area for years. I always love how the magic of Hilton Head and Sea Pines brings families together on such an incredible day. This September wedding day at Sea Pines started off with torrential rain […]
Somehow, it’s already February and I just realized that I haven’t posted my year-end recap from 2024. Yikes! Better late than never, I suppose! If I’m being totally honest and transparent, 2024 was a difficult year for me + my mindset. Self-doubt, not knowing where I “fit in”, feeling jealousy of other photographers, and not […]
