I love colorful weddings!! Big surprise, right?!? Just kidding… I think it’s pretty evident that I’m a big fan of bright, vibrant colors! Lucky for me, my beautiful bride Whitney feels the same way. Her August wedding at Lowndes Grove was filled with color. Bright blue Ikat print table runners, floral arrangements in a variety of pink tones, bowls full of lemons to add a pop of yellow to her tablescapes… it was seriously gorgeous and the perfect color palette for a summer wedding!
Naturally, I was thrilled to see it featured in a 2-page spread in the latest issue of Southern Bride magazine! It’s always an honor to see my clients’ dream day featured, but it’s always just a little more special when it’s in print. I love that their wedding can serve as inspiration for couples who don’t want to do the blush route!! Check it out in the latest issue, on newsstands now!

For Addison, Kiawah Island has been a beloved part of life since childhood. So when it came time to choose a wedding location, bringing family and friends together on the island where so many […]

Charleston weather likes to keep everyone on their toes, but even by Lowcountry standards, Caroline and Cody’s wedding day was memorable. Rain fell for most of the day – a rarity in Charleston, especially when it seems determined to stick around from morning until ceremony time. Yet through every forecast update, timeline adjustment, and weather-related […]

Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details. Others are beautiful because of the people. Ansley and James’ wedding in Columbia, South Carolina was the rare combination of both. After seven years together, these two gathered their favorite people for a celebration that felt joyful, colorful, and completely centered on the relationships that matter […]

Maren and Kevin’s wedding at Ford Field + River Club in Savannah was the kind of day that felt effortlessly relaxed from beginning to end. Set beneath the Spanish moss and overlooking the water, every part of their celebration embraced the natural beauty of the Lowcountry while still feeling elegant, colorful, and incredibly inviting. Living […]
