I knew that Kelsey + Nick’s wedding day was going to be special from the very beginning. When she told me her vision was a preppy glam wedding with a focus on their sweet pup, Ollie, I was immediately all in!! With the help of the fabulous ladies at Pure Luxe Bride, her vision came to life and it was pure perfection! Although thunderstorms threatened Charleston throughout the day, Mother Nature was kind to us and we only had a few light showers throughout the day – including a romantic light sprinkle as Kelsey + Nick recited their vows to each other in their beautiful garden ceremony.
Their day started with a sweet First Look in downtown Charleston and before we went back to the Gadsden House for group photos, we had to stop by St Michael’s Church for a few photos. Why? Because when Kelsey was 8 years old, she saw a bride outside of that church and she told her mom “I want to get married in Charleston someday.” Well, that dream came true yesterday and, as if on cue, a horse-drawn carriage tour rolled by as we took photos in front of the church. I like to think that maybe Kelsey inspired another little girl to get married in our beautiful city someday!
After their ceremony, guests enjoyed a selection of low country fare and spent the evening tearing up the dance floor. At the end of the night, Kelsey + Nick exited through a tunnel of light wands and jumped into a fun rickshaw that transported them to their afterparty. The perfect ending to an amazing day. Here are some of my favorites from Kelsey + Nick’s gorgeous wedding at the Gadsden House in Charleston...

Maren and Kevin’s wedding at Ford Field + River Club in Savannah was the kind of day that felt effortlessly relaxed from beginning to end. Set beneath the Spanish moss and overlooking the water, every part of their celebration embraced the natural beauty of the Lowcountry while still feeling elegant, colorful, and incredibly inviting. Living […]

Bridal portraits offer a rare pause in the wedding season – a moment to step away from timelines and celebrations and focus entirely on the bride herself. Bri’s bridal portrait session took place at a private residence in downtown Charleston, and the setting could not have been more perfect. Rich teal walls, layered textures, patterned […]

Some wedding days just feel easy in the best possible way – not because nothing is happening, but because everything unfolds exactly as it should, surrounded by the people who matter most. Dana and Hayden’s celebration at Cannon Green was exactly that kind of day. The morning began at their home here in Charleston, a […]

Taylor and Clay’s wedding at the The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort felt like a natural extension of who they are – thoughtful, intentional, and deeply rooted in what they love most. Traveling to South Carolina from central Missouri, the two share a connection that’s been shaped in many ways by the game […]

Ava and Alex’s wedding day felt like the perfect blend of classic elegance and genuine, unfiltered joy – the kind of celebration where every moment feels light, meaningful, and deeply felt all at once. The two now call Greenville home, and their season leading up to the wedding was a full one. Ava just graduated […]

Tucked into the heart of historic downtown Charleston, Bri and Brett’s wedding felt less like an event and more like being invited into something deeply personal. Hosted at a private residence South of Broad – a home Bri knows well, as she manages the property for the owners – the setting carried a level of […]
