When you’re a wedding photographer, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of running a business. We are just trying to stay on top of everything – shooting, culling, editing, submitting, answering emails. All of the fun things that come with running your own business. At the end of the year, things slow down – and I always love looking back through my weddings and picking my favorite images to share. 2019 was an amazing year of growth and I’m so proud of the work I was able to produce for my clients last year. I really feel like I created some incredible images and pushed myself creatively. I finished the year feeling proud of myself – and putting all of these images together for this post confirmed it. I absolutely love my job because I love creating this legacy for all of my amazing couples. Images that they will share with their kids and grandkids someday. It’s not lost on me just how important this job is and I can’t thank my clients enough for trusting me to document this incredible part of their life. So, without further ado, here are some of my favorite images from the 2019 wedding year!
With a well-worn passport in hand, and an affinity for a good cocktail, Dana works with fun-loving and kind-hearted clients around the globe.

2023 was definitely one of the best years yet for my business. I had the honor of working with so many fabulous couples, in so many fabulous locations… including Spain, Italy, and Hawaii! I feel extremely lucky that I was able to experience such a tremendous year of growth and travel. Here are some of […]
This colorful winter wedding at Sea Pines Resort was the perfect way to start 2024. On one of the coldest days of the year, Caitlyn + Mark said “I do!” on the iconic 18th lawn at Harbourtown Links, overlooking the Calibogue Sound. Surrounded by their closest family + friends, their day was everything that Caitlyn […]
When I first started second shooting in 2011, I’ll admit… I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I was pretty good with my camera, technically. I could shoot in manual mode and had some understanding of flash. However, I wasn’t entirely sure of my role as a second shooter and had no idea exactly […]
Lowndes Grove is a magical venue for romantic bridal portraits. The house is bathed in gorgeous light, thanks to the large windows throughout. It has plenty of indoor space that you can use in case of inclement weather. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a classic style that complements the overall aesthetic of the property. […]
This post may be a year late, BUT I wanted to share some of my favorite wedding and engagement photos from 2022. It’s always such a treat to go back and see all of the amazing weddings I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of – and all of the amazing couples I’ve worked […]
