Their day unfolded with an ease that only comes from deep roots. Madeline and Porter have known each other since preschool, grew up side by side in Columbia, South Carolina, and began dating as sophomores in high school. Their families are close, their history intertwined – and that sense of familiarity and trust was felt in every moment of the day. Nothing felt rushed. Nothing felt performative. They chose to share their First Look beneath the trees at Six Oaks, a quiet pause before the celebration began.
