YOU GUYS!!! I don’t even know if it’s possible to put into words how incredible Jennie + Jonathan’s wedding day was. Not only did Jennie look AMAZING in her burgundy embroidered wedding gown and romantic textured updo by Ash and Co., she also used her experience as an event planner to design + create the wedding of her dreams! Jonathan looked oh-so-dapper in his navy suit with burgundy tie and their First Look in Flowerdale Garden at Magnolia Plantation was pure perfection! We met up with their bridal party under the oaks for photos and everyone looked amazing in their navy + burgundy attire. The fabulous bouquets + boutonnieres by Branch Design Studio tied everything together and it was so much fun to watch Jennie + Jonathan surrounded by so much love + laughter on their big day.
Everyone headed downtown for their ceremony at St Philip’s Church, then came back to Magnolia Plantation for their reception. Blue linens, white vintage chairs, gorgeous florals, and candles created a warm, inviting vibe for Jennie + Jonathan’s guests. After an amazing seated dinner, guests danced the night away before sending the newlyweds off through a tunnel of sparklers. It was an incredible day for two amazing people! Here are some of my favorites from Jennie + Jonathan’s amazing winter wedding at Magnolia Plantation…

There’s something undeniably magical about Charleston SC. The cobblestone alleyways, the historic charm, and the gentle breeze off of the water – which creates the perfect setting for love to flourish. When I had the opportunity to capture Hannah + Ashley’s engagement session on an overcast day this past September, I knew it would be […]
Hilton Head is a special place to Abby + Greyson, as Abby’s parents live there and she’s been visiting the area for years. I always love how the magic of Hilton Head and Sea Pines brings families together on such an incredible day. This September wedding day at Sea Pines started off with torrential rain […]
Somehow, it’s already February and I just realized that I haven’t posted my year-end recap from 2024. Yikes! Better late than never, I suppose! If I’m being totally honest and transparent, 2024 was a difficult year for me + my mindset. Self-doubt, not knowing where I “fit in”, feeling jealousy of other photographers, and not […]
I met up with Nicole + Thomas last summer for their engagement session out on Folly Beach. They found me through another one of my couples, whose wedding I photographed at Sea Pines last winter, and I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their Charleston wedding! I loved spending the evening with them […]
Dawn + Joey’s classic coastal summer wedding at Dataw Island Club was truly one that I will never forget. Every single detail was so thoughtfully curated and it was such an honor to be a part of their full wedding weekend. From their cozy rehearsal dinner the night before, to their epic celebration on the […]
I love it when my couples opt to do an engagement session with me before their wedding day. While it’s by no means necessary, I always really love getting to know my couples before the wedding day – and I also love being able to take some epic photos of them during this special time […]
