Kendal and Alec’s wedding day at Sea Pines Resort felt relaxed, joyful, and beautifully personal from beginning to end. With close family and friends gathered on Hilton Head Island, their celebration was intentionally small – the kind of wedding where every guest feels deeply connected to the couple and the reason everyone is there. While the couple now calls Charlotte home, Sea Pines has long been a special place for Kendal’s family. Her parents live there, and it was also where Alec proposed, making it the perfect setting to return to for their wedding day.
They chose to celebrate with a brunch wedding, which gave the entire day an easygoing, coastal rhythm. Sunlight poured through the moss-draped oaks during their ceremony, and the soft palette of blues, whites, and fresh greenery carried the relaxed seaside atmosphere throughout the celebration. After exchanging vows beneath the iconic Liberty Oak in Harbour Town, guests gathered for a bright and airy brunch reception filled with thoughtful details, fresh florals, and plenty of laughter. The intimate guest list meant the day never felt rushed. Instead, it unfolded naturally, giving Kendal and Alec the chance to spend real time with each of the people who traveled to celebrate with them.
From the quiet coastal ceremony to the joyful Moke and pom-pom send-off, Kendal and Alec’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most meaningful celebrations are the simplest ones – thoughtful, intentional, and filled with the people who matter most.
