For Jennie, Sea Pines has never been just a wedding destination – it’s home. Long before this day, she spent summers working in Harbour Town, learning its rhythms, its light, and the way life slows down just enough on Hilton Head Island. So when it came time to choose where she and Greg would get married, returning here felt natural. Meaningful. Inevitable, even.
Jennie and Greg met at Wake Forest and have been together for seven years, building a life that now calls New York City home. Their wedding day felt like a beautiful intersection of past and present – Northeast roots meeting coastal familiarity, city polish softened by salt air and Spanish moss. The morning unfolded in two meaningful places: Jennie getting ready at her parents’ home, surrounded by family and the quiet excitement of familiar rooms, while Greg spent his morning at the Sea Pines clubhouse. When it was time to see each other, they chose Six Oaks for their First Look – a setting that felt intimate and grounded, framed by towering oaks and filtered Southern light. It was calm, emotional, and unhurried – exactly the tone they carried through the rest of the day.
Their ceremony took place overlooking the water, with muted, organic tones layered with thoughtful pops of color. Nothing felt overly styled or forced – the design allowed the setting and the emotions to lead. Jennie’s sister stood beside her as Maid of Honor, and the closeness of their families was felt in every interaction, from quiet glances to full, joyful laughter.
As the sun lowered and the celebration unfolded, Sea Pines once again proved why it holds such a special place in Jennie’s story. This wasn’t just a wedding on Hilton Head – it was a return. A homecoming. And a beautiful beginning all at once.

Some places hold more than memories – they hold generations. For Madeline + Porter, Hilton Head wasn’t just a beautiful setting for their wedding day at Sea Pines Resort; it was part of their family story long before they ever said “I do.” With both of their parents having been married on Hilton Head and […]

Nine years of growing up together gives you a certain steadiness – the kind that doesn’t panic when plans unravel. That quiet confidence defined Walker + Addi Grace’s wedding day at Boone Hall, even as steady rain reshaped nearly every detail of their celebration. High school sweethearts who met as freshmen and now call Columbia, […]

Some wedding days unfold exactly as planned. Others ask you to let go, adapt, and trust what matters most. Lauren and Billy’s wedding at Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head was very much the latter – and in many ways, that’s what made it so meaningful. Elegant, sophisticated, and deeply classic in style, their day […]

Mayzie + Hyrum’s intimate celebration at the Ocean Course on Kiawah gave me allllll of the Ralph Lauren vibes. When I look back at these images, I’m instantly transported – there’s something so Americana and nostalgic about the day, in the best possible way. Maybe it’s the classic blue hydrangea bouquet, effortlessly timeless. Maybe it’s […]

When it comes to tipping wedding vendors, there’s often a lot of conflicting information – especially when it comes to tipping photographers. Should you tip them? If so, how much? And who exactly should receive it – the lead photographer or their team? The truth is, while tipping your wedding photographer is never expected, it’s […]
