When I first spoke to Elizabeth last June, I knew that her wedding day was going to be something special. She spoke about getting married in her hometown of Beaufort SC – first, a sweet ceremony at her local church, followed by a tented waterfront celebration filled with bright colors and palm accents. Elizabeth wanted the day to be relaxed and focused on spending time with their family + friends. She envisioned her bridesmaids to wear bright pink and dreamed of incredible florals throughout the wedding design. It was like she was describing my own dream wedding. Talk about a DREAM client!! I am so thankful she chose me to document this incredible day for her + Patrick because it really was a dream come true.
Their day started with a sweet First Look, followed by portraits around the Rhett House Inn in downtown Beaufort. Group photos with their wedding party + family followed, then everyone was tucked away before the start of the ceremony. Elizabeth + Patrick said “I do!” at St Helena’s Parish, her family’s church – and then everyone headed out to Kate Gleason Park for the reception.
Guests enjoyed cocktails overlooking the water before stations opened – featuring lowcountry fare and a gigantic raw bar. Once the party got underway, Elizabeth + Patrick never left the dance floor – they were by each others’ side the entire evening, dancing + celebrating with their best friends and incredible family. At the end of the night, they exited through a tunnel of cold sparks and hopped into a family friend’s vintage convertible. Such an incredible day! Here are just some of my favorites from Elizabeth + Patrick’s beautiful Beaufort SC wedding…

Hannah + Matt’s intimate brunch wedding at The Sanctuary on Kiawah was such a special celebration. If there are two things I LOVE, it’s an intimate wedding and brunch! Combine them together and it’s the perfect recipe for a memorable soiree. Can I specialize in brunch weddings? Pretty please?! I just love them! The morning […]
Ashley + Kyle’s wedding day was, in a word, magic. These two share such a beautiful love and I am beyond thankful to have witnessed it first hand. Ashley is pure JOY in human form and she absolutely glows in Kyle’s presence. The way they look at each other and care for each other is […]
From the moment I first spoke to Sandra, I knew her wedding day was going to be something special. She had a clear vision of a day filled with special details, personalized moments, and a celebration of love that was truly unique to her and Matt’s love story. Being in the fashion world, I knew […]
There’s something undeniably magical about Charleston SC. The cobblestone alleyways, the historic charm, and the gentle breeze off of the water – which creates the perfect setting for love to flourish. When I had the opportunity to capture Hannah + Ashley’s engagement session on an overcast day this past September, I knew it would be […]
Hilton Head is a special place to Abby + Greyson, as Abby’s parents live there and she’s been visiting the area for years. I always love how the magic of Hilton Head and Sea Pines brings families together on such an incredible day. This September wedding day at Sea Pines started off with torrential rain […]
Somehow, it’s already February and I just realized that I haven’t posted my year-end recap from 2024. Yikes! Better late than never, I suppose! If I’m being totally honest and transparent, 2024 was a difficult year for me + my mindset. Self-doubt, not knowing where I “fit in”, feeling jealousy of other photographers, and not […]
