I LOVE shooting destination weddings. Like, love love LOVE it! So whenever a bride + groom ask me to travel to document their wedding day, I’m so humbled and honored because it’s such an amazing experience for me. So when Dana + Paul found me through an internet search for light + bright wedding photographers and asked me to travel to Stone Harbor, New Jersey for their wedding day, I jumped at the chance. And it was truly meant to be because during our initial phone chat, I found out that both Dana + Paul graduated from Gettysburg College – my alma mater too! So fun!! It made the entire experience even more special for me!
The forecast leading up to their wedding day wasn’t looking great, but Mother Nature answered our prayers and delivered an INCREDIBLE day for them. The overcast skies kept the heat at bay and provided soft, gorgeous lighting for portraits. We started the day on the beach, where everyone was getting ready. Before we knew it, we were off to the golf club, where Dana + Paul shared a sweet First Look. They were up for anything and even trekked into some tall grass for some of my very favorite portraits of the day. THANK YOU for trusting me, you guys!! It was totally worth it!!
They were joined by their bridal party and family for group photos before their sweet ceremony on the patio, which was officiated by Dana’s cousin. Then, the party got into full swing and the dance floor was PACKED all night. At the very end of the night, Dana + Paul exited through a tunnel of sparklers… the perfect ending to the perfect day!! Here are some of my favorites from Dana + Paul’s beautiful Stone Harbor Golf Club wedding…

When Katie first told me about her wedding day vision – a classic brunch wedding overlooking the water at the iconic Ocean Course on Kiawah Island – I knew it was going to be such a beautiful celebration. There really isn’t anything like a Kiawah Island wedding! A custom Modern Trousseau ball gown, topped with […]
I met up with Dawn + Joey in February for their beautiful engagement session here in Charleston. They brought their two beautiful pups, Willow + Cricket, along for part of the session… and boy, did they have a blast at Hampton Park?!? I am totally OBSESSED with the photos of them walking together (below) because […]
Audra + Rahul’s beautiful traditional Indian wedding in Charleston was definitely one for the books. I absolutely LOVE everything about South Asian/Indian weddings… the colors, the attire, the music, the food, the traditions, the rituals, the family element, the dancing. There really is nothing like it and if I could specialize in shooting only South […]
From the very first time I spoke with Martha Camille, I knew that her Boone Hall wedding was going to be EPIC. I also knew that she was going to be a dream client for me – and she absolutely was! I love all of my couples, but it’s so extra special when someone has […]
When Martha Camille told me that she wanted to recreate her mother’s studio bridal portraits, I’ll admit… I was a little hesitant. I’ve never done studio bridal portraits before and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to bring her vision to life. As a creative, I love doing things that are outside of […]
2023 was definitely one of the best years yet for my business. I had the honor of working with so many fabulous couples, in so many fabulous locations… including Spain, Italy, and Hawaii! I feel extremely lucky that I was able to experience such a tremendous year of growth and travel. Here are some of […]
