This wedding is a special one and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2021! Kicking off a new year with Kiersten + Kyle was EXACTLY what I needed after a crazy, stressful 2020. Even though the radar looked ominous most of the day, Mother Nature really did us a solid and graced us with GORGEOUS overcast skies and only a few rain showers here and there.
Weather aside, Kiersten + Kyle’s wedding day was everything I knew it would be… beautiful, elegant, full of joy + laughter, and an absolutely EPIC celebration of their love! They decided not to do a First Look and I absolutely loved Kyle’s reaction when Kiersten came down the aisle with her dad. Kiersten + Kyle said “I do!” in a beautiful ceremony and the rain stopped just in time for their bridal party photos and portrait time! The light was SO GOOD and I am obsessed with all of their photos overlooking the Stono River! The celebration kicked into high gear and let me just tell you… these guys know how to party! I always love photographing the dance floor and this was one of my favorite dance parties to date!
I couldn’t imagine ringing in the New Year with any other couple and I am truly blessed to have such amazing clients. If this wedding is any indication of how 2021 is going to go, I am SO EXCITED to see what the rest of the year brings. So without further ado, here are some of my favorites from Kiersten + Kyle’s stunning winter wedding at The Island House…

I first met Tori back in 2016 when I photographed her older sister Kiersten’s wedding. Little did I know then that I would go on to photograph their sister Chelsea’s wedding in 2021 – and finally Tori’s wedding in 2024! Legacy clients are so special and the Stolen family means so much to me. They […]
When I first spoke to Elizabeth last June, I knew that her wedding day was going to be something special. She spoke about getting married in her hometown of Beaufort SC – first, a sweet ceremony at her local church, followed by a tented waterfront celebration filled with bright colors and palm accents. Elizabeth wanted […]
Lizzie + Nick’s colorful Charleston wedding at the William Aiken House was definitely one for the books. I absolutely loved spending this beautiful spring day with them, their families, and closest friends. The historic charm of the venue combined with Charleston’s vibrant atmosphere created a truly memorable setting for their colorful celebration. Lush floral arrangements […]
I was introduced to Cait through former DCW bride and fellow photographer, Lindsay, who had worked with Cait previously, but was not available for her wedding day. I’m SO thankful that Lindsay connected us because I immediately fell in love with Cait and her vision for a sweet, intimate wedding celebration in Charleston. Caitlin’s parents […]
When Katie first told me about her wedding day vision – a classic brunch wedding overlooking the water at the iconic Ocean Course on Kiawah Island – I knew it was going to be such a beautiful celebration. There really isn’t anything like a Kiawah Island wedding! A custom Modern Trousseau ball gown, topped with […]
I met up with Dawn + Joey in February for their beautiful engagement session here in Charleston. They brought their two beautiful pups, Willow + Cricket, along for part of the session… and boy, did they have a blast at Hampton Park?!? I am totally OBSESSED with the photos of them walking together (below) because […]
