This colorful winter wedding at Sea Pines Resort was the perfect way to start 2024. On one of the coldest days of the year, Caitlyn + Mark said “I do!” on the iconic 18th lawn at Harbourtown Links, overlooking the Calibogue Sound. Surrounded by their closest family + friends, their day was everything that Caitlyn had envisioned. Their day was filled with so much joy and Caitlyn’s vision for a colorful, coastal celebration was executed to perfection. I absolutely LOVED her choice of colors and the abundance of florals throughout her wedding design… it really made such a statement and brought some much needed warmth to their day!
The day started at the girls’ getting ready space, which was a cute condo nestled right on the 18th green at Sea Pines. Caitlyn + her girls spent the morning getting their hair + makeup done and preparing for the day. Caitlyn chose a gorgeous Pronovias ballgown and wow. Such a stunning dress that was perfect for this southern celebration. I just LOVE ballgowns! They are so flattering on every body and Caitlyn’s classic choice was perfection.
Caitlyn + Mark decided not to do a First Look – instead opting for a sweet First Touch where they stood back to back and read private vows to each other. Despite the freezing cold temperatures, they took their time together on the porch and held hands, in anticipation of their upcoming ceremony where they could finally see each other. It was a really sweet part of the day full of emotion – and made me so excited for them to actually see each other at the altar!
The bridesmaids looked stunning in dark navy blue floor-length gowns and their colorful bouquets looked incredible against the navy blue! The guys wore classic black tuxedos with colorful boutonnieres that complemented the bridesmaid bouquets. As the wind whipped off the water, Caitlyn + Mark promised each other forever – and exited the ceremony as husband and wife, as guests threw rose petals in their direction.
After the ceremony, we went to Six Oaks for photos under the majestic live oaks – then returned to the 18th lawn for sunset photos. Then, it was party time! Caitlyn + Mark spent the entire night together on the dance floor before exiting through a tunnel of fiber optic wands. Then, they jumped on a golf cart adorned with flowers and tin cans – the perfect ending to an amazing day. Here are some of my favorites from Caitlin + Mark’s beautiful winter wedding at Sea Pines…

When Katie first told me about her wedding day vision – a classic brunch wedding overlooking the water at the iconic Ocean Course on Kiawah Island – I knew it was going to be such a beautiful celebration. There really isn’t anything like a Kiawah Island wedding! A custom Modern Trousseau ball gown, topped with […]
I met up with Dawn + Joey in February for their beautiful engagement session here in Charleston. They brought their two beautiful pups, Willow + Cricket, along for part of the session… and boy, did they have a blast at Hampton Park?!? I am totally OBSESSED with the photos of them walking together (below) because […]
Audra + Rahul’s beautiful traditional Indian wedding in Charleston was definitely one for the books. I absolutely LOVE everything about South Asian/Indian weddings… the colors, the attire, the music, the food, the traditions, the rituals, the family element, the dancing. There really is nothing like it and if I could specialize in shooting only South […]
From the very first time I spoke with Martha Camille, I knew that her Boone Hall wedding was going to be EPIC. I also knew that she was going to be a dream client for me – and she absolutely was! I love all of my couples, but it’s so extra special when someone has […]
When Martha Camille told me that she wanted to recreate her mother’s studio bridal portraits, I’ll admit… I was a little hesitant. I’ve never done studio bridal portraits before and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to bring her vision to life. As a creative, I love doing things that are outside of […]
2023 was definitely one of the best years yet for my business. I had the honor of working with so many fabulous couples, in so many fabulous locations… including Spain, Italy, and Hawaii! I feel extremely lucky that I was able to experience such a tremendous year of growth and travel. Here are some of […]
