From the very first time I ever spoke to Becca on the phone, I knew I HAD to work with her. Her sense of style, love of details, and vision for her wedding day got me really excited and I am just so thankful that we had the opportunity to work together. Becca is literally my dream client. She had a very clear vision for her day and it all came together so well. The pure joy that we were able to capture in their photos was all thanks to her – we can only create magic when our clients let down their walls and simply enjoy the day, unabashedly. Becca did exactly that and it was such a joy to witness!
First of all, Becca had 4 – yes, 4!!! – dresses, at least 3 pairs of shoes, multiple sets of earrings… she is very much into fashion and I love how she planned out her wedding day to make sure that she had plenty of time for outfit changes throughout the day.
Becca chose a modern Justin Alexander gown for her First Look with Josh. Shortly after their First Look, we tucked Josh away and Becca changed into her favorite/secret dress – a Monique Lhuillier printed floral gown. She wanted to surprise Josh at the altar with this dress, so we kept them apart until ceremony time. It was such a fun element of their day, keeping this gown a secret from Josh until she walked down the aisle!
Becca’s bridesmaids all wore different dresses in shades of blue, white + yellow. I absolutely love how they coordinated with the venue and florals so perfectly.
After a heartfelt ceremony with personal vows written by each other – in matching Dior notebooks, naturally – Becca + Josh recessed as The Plantation Singers sung “Oh Happy Day!” and led guests into the tent for cocktail hour.
Becca’s favorite drink is an Aperol Spritz, so they used the drinks as escort cards to guide guests into the house for dinner. Edible flowers and sugar butterflies were sprinkled in the drinks for some added fun! The dinner tables were decorated with beautiful florals, chinoiserie elements, lemons, and hand calligraphed name cards. It felt like a true al fresco dinner in Italy! And then there was their cake… a gorgeous cake with colorful pressed flowers, which was perfect for their celebration.
Before their First Dance, Becca changed into dress #3 – a silk dress with a plunging back – and then after dinner, Becca changed into her final dress of the night – a fun metallic tassel dress perfect for dancing! Guests also loved watching the live wedding painter work on her painting throughout the night – another fun element in this perfect day.
This wedding was absolutely incredible, Becca + Josh are amazing, and I just love how it all came together. This is a wedding that proves that thinking outside of the box and incorporating the things that you really, truly love is SO WORTH IT. Every single element was so well thought-out and I loved watching Becca’s joy throughout the day. At the end of the night, they jumped into her grandfather’s car and left as husband + wife! Such a fun way to end the night.
Congratulations you guys and THANK YOU for allowing me to capture this incredible day for you + your families!!

Tucked into the heart of historic downtown Charleston, Bri and Brett’s wedding felt less like an event and more like being invited into something deeply personal. Hosted at a private residence South of Broad – a home Bri knows well, as she manages the property for the owners – the setting carried a level of […]

Kendal and Alec’s wedding day at Sea Pines Resort felt relaxed, joyful, and beautifully personal from beginning to end. With close family and friends gathered on Hilton Head Island, their celebration was intentionally small – the kind of wedding where every guest feels deeply connected to the couple and the reason everyone is there. While […]

Some wedding days are beautiful. Others are joyful. And then there are the rare ones that feel like joy in motion – the kind you can feel in every frame, every laugh, every stolen glance. Rachel and Mac’s wedding at Magnolia Plantation was exactly that. From the very beginning, they chose to experience the day […]

For Jennie, Sea Pines has never been just a wedding destination – it’s home. Long before this day, she spent summers working in Harbour Town, learning its rhythms, its light, and the way life slows down just enough on Hilton Head Island. So when it came time to choose where she and Greg would get […]

Some places hold more than memories – they hold generations. For Madeline + Porter, Hilton Head wasn’t just a beautiful setting for their wedding day at Sea Pines Resort; it was part of their family story long before they ever said “I do.” With both of their parents having been married on Hilton Head and […]

Nine years of growing up together gives you a certain steadiness – the kind that doesn’t panic when plans unravel. That quiet confidence defined Walker + Addi Grace’s wedding day at Boone Hall, even as steady rain reshaped nearly every detail of their celebration. High school sweethearts who met as freshmen and now call Columbia, […]
