Coastal Charleston Engagement Session // Dawn + Joey

I met up with Dawn + Joey in February for their beautiful engagement session here in Charleston. They brought their two beautiful pups, Willow + Cricket, along for part of the session… and boy, did they have a blast at Hampton Park?!? I am totally OBSESSED with the photos of them walking together (below) because if that doesn’t capture what it’s really like to walk two strong dogs in the park, I don’t know what does!!
On this beautiful, overcast day, we spent time getting to know each other and chatted about their wedding plans. We practically had the entire park to ourselves and the lighting was just perfection. I just LOVE an overcast day! After our stroll around the park, we headed out to the local neighborhood dock to capture sunset – and those cotton candy skies did NOT disappoint! Mother Nature sure was showing off for us in the best possible way with that little peek of sunset over the water.
I am already so excited for Dawn + Joey’s amazing wedding celebration this summer on Dataw Island. I just know it’s going to be an incredible day. So without further ado, here are some of my favorites from their sweet Charleston engagement session…
