Bridgitt + Hayden’s wedding day was so incredibly special in so many ways, it’s hard for me to put things into words. First of all, Bridgitt + Hayden are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. It was a pure joy to capture their day because they were both so incredibly gracious, unbelievably kind, and as a couple, they made it a priority to really take everything in throughout the day and embrace what the day is ultimately about… the two of them promising their lives to each other. So many times, brides get wrapped up in the details of the day, wanting everything to be “perfect”. Bridgitt was so present on her wedding day and just an absolute joy to be around. She and her AMAZING family made everyone feel so appreciated and welcomed… it honestly felt like I was part of the family! I just can’t say enough good things about Bridgitt, Hayden, and everyone else who made their day unforgettable. It was such an amazing day to be a part of and I am forever grateful to be the one they chose to document it all.
Bridgitt + Hayden’s incredible day started with a sweet First Look on the boardwalk in her parent’s backyard at their home on Isle of Palms. The look on Hayden’s face when he saw his beautiful bride was priceless! After their First Look, we headed downtown for some portraits and their bridal party met us downtown for their photos as well. Everyone looked amazing and I loved watching Bridgitt + Hayden surrounded by their closest friends + family. There was so much love surrounding them!!
Before we knew it, Bridgitt + Hayden were saying “I do!” in a beautiful ceremony at Trinity United Methodist Church… and then everyone headed to the Cedar Room at the Cigar Factory for the reception. The reception space looked absolutely INCREDIBLE, thanks to the ladies of Bouquets and Bowties and Branch Design Studio, and I absolutely LOVED their fresh spring color palette!! As much as I love neutrals, pops of color will always have my heart!! Bridgitt + Hayden danced the night away with family + friends in celebration of their love and at the end of the night, then exited as guests waved gold streamers. It was the perfect end to an absolutely incredible day. Here are some of my favorites from Bridgitt + Hayden’s amazing spring wedding at the Cedar Room…

There was an ease to Allyson and Brian’s wedding day that made it such a joy to photograph. From the moment I arrived at The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, everything felt relaxed, intentional, and centered on what mattered most: celebrating their marriage with the people they love. No overcomplicated timeline, no unnecessary stress – […]

After three years of being engaged and originally planning a much larger wedding, Allison and Jake decided to take a different path. Instead of a big celebration, they chose an intimate wedding day centered around what mattered most to them: each other and the people they love most. With just 19 guests in attendance – […]

When a place has been woven into your family’s traditions for years, there’s something especially meaningful about beginning your marriage there. For Addison, Kiawah Island has been a beloved part of life since childhood. So when it came time to choose a wedding location, bringing family and friends together on the island where so many […]

Charleston weather likes to keep everyone on their toes, but even by Lowcountry standards, Caroline and Cody’s wedding day was memorable. Rain fell for most of the day – a rarity in Charleston, especially when it seems determined to stick around from morning until ceremony time. Yet through every forecast update, timeline adjustment, and weather-related […]

Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details. Others are beautiful because of the people. Ansley and James’ wedding in Columbia, South Carolina was the rare combination of both. After seven years together, these two gathered their favorite people for a celebration that felt joyful, colorful, and completely centered on the relationships that matter […]

Maren and Kevin’s wedding at Ford Field + River Club in Savannah was the kind of day that felt effortlessly relaxed from beginning to end. Set beneath the Spanish moss and overlooking the water, every part of their celebration embraced the natural beauty of the Lowcountry while still feeling elegant, colorful, and incredibly inviting. Living […]
