Libby + Kyle were supposed to get married in March 2020, but unfortunately COVID has other plans. Exactly one year to the date of their original 2020 wedding date, Libby + Kyle finally celebrated their marriage with family + friends in Savannah, GA.
With such a small guest list, Libby + Kyle were able to celebrate on their own terms. An intimate rooftop ceremony, followed by a seated dinner and casual conversation – their reception was low key and laid back. They opted to forego the typical dancing reception and, instead, created a lounge-type atmosphere after dinner. Adults mingled outside on the rooftop, sipping drinks and catching up with each other – while the kids enjoyed a play area filled with ball pits, games, and toys.
Libby + Kyle’s wedding celebration was refreshing and uniquely “them” – which I just loved! The entire day was so easy and stress-free – it truly felt like I was part of the family! I firmly believe that one of the best things that came out of COVID was the downsizing of wedding celebrations. Throughout late 2020 and early 2021, many couples were choosing to surround themselves with only their closest family + friends. I think this has allowed more couples to really enjoy the wedding process since it alleviates a lot of the stress when you’re only planning a wedding for 20-50 people versus 250+.
Congratulations Libby + Kyle – and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful wedding day!

There’s something so special about photographing a wedding that feels completely, authentically them. Ashley and Hannah’s wedding day at Magnolia Plantation was one of those days – full of laughter, meaning, and so much love. These two made the trip from Charlotte to celebrate their marriage surrounded by family, friends, and their sweet pup, Norman […]

Some weddings are more emotional than others and, for Sarah + Logan, this was especially true. After having to postpone their original wedding date abruptly due to a health scare, they said “I do!” just a year later – and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. They had waited a long time for […]

Lauren + James’ wedding day was one that won’t soon be forgotten. As a nod to their shared love of trying new restaurants, planner + designer extraordinaire, Allison Event Design, created a tented reception space with all of the restaurant-inspired details they love. A statement bar that wowwed guests, a mix of table sizes for […]

Becca + Stephen’s art deco inspired wedding at the American Theatre in downtown Charleston was one for the books! Their day was filled with so much love, joy, and thoughtfulness – I swear, the best weddings are always the ones that are centered around the couple and their family + friends. Sure, pretty details are […]

2025 got off to the very best start with Maggie + Britt! I absolutely ADORE these two and their wedding day was the perfect way to start the new year. Their shared love of the water and all of the natural beauty that the Lowcountry has to offer made the Regatta Inn a no-brainer choice […]

Payton + Connor’s rainy celebration at Lowndes Grove was the PERFECT way to close out the 2024 wedding season. When I first spoke with Payton, she told me that she envisioned a colorful wedding day – despite being married in late December. I LOVE that she went with bright florals and colors because it was […]
