Haley + Will’s wedding day was certainly one for the books. With 100% rain in the forecast, we planned for the worst – but Mother Nature surprised us with dry skies when we were scheduled to take photos outdoors. It honestly couldn’t have worked out any better and we were able to create some of my very favorite portraits to date despite the dreary forecast!
This wedding will always hold a special place in my heart since it was my 300th wedding. It still blows my mind that 300 couples have chosen me to document their wedding day. Haley, Will, their family, and their friends were such a joy to work with and I’m honestly so lucky to be able to serve my clients in this way.
I absolutely LOVED Haley’s color palette of peach, pink, and apricot. It made such a dramatic impact against the overcast light and the downtown architecture of Savannah. I am a big fan of bright, happy colors and I was just so excited to have those warm colors in front of my lens – especially in February. Haley + Will said “I do!” at a beautiful church downtown, then spent the evening celebrating with family + friends at their reception. The warm florals and beautiful lighting created a welcoming atmosphere and the dance floor was packed all night. At the end of the night, while rain fell, Haley + Will exited and hopped into a vintage car… the perfect ending to an amazing wedding day.
Congratulations Haley + Will – and thank you for allowing me to capture this amazing day for you!

There’s something so special about photographing a wedding that feels completely, authentically them. Ashley and Hannah’s wedding day at Magnolia Plantation was one of those days – full of laughter, meaning, and so much love. These two made the trip from Charlotte to celebrate their marriage surrounded by family, friends, and their sweet pup, Norman […]

Some weddings are more emotional than others and, for Sarah + Logan, this was especially true. After having to postpone their original wedding date abruptly due to a health scare, they said “I do!” just a year later – and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. They had waited a long time for […]

Lauren + James’ wedding day was one that won’t soon be forgotten. As a nod to their shared love of trying new restaurants, planner + designer extraordinaire, Allison Event Design, created a tented reception space with all of the restaurant-inspired details they love. A statement bar that wowwed guests, a mix of table sizes for […]

Becca + Stephen’s art deco inspired wedding at the American Theatre in downtown Charleston was one for the books! Their day was filled with so much love, joy, and thoughtfulness – I swear, the best weddings are always the ones that are centered around the couple and their family + friends. Sure, pretty details are […]

2025 got off to the very best start with Maggie + Britt! I absolutely ADORE these two and their wedding day was the perfect way to start the new year. Their shared love of the water and all of the natural beauty that the Lowcountry has to offer made the Regatta Inn a no-brainer choice […]

Payton + Connor’s rainy celebration at Lowndes Grove was the PERFECT way to close out the 2024 wedding season. When I first spoke with Payton, she told me that she envisioned a colorful wedding day – despite being married in late December. I LOVE that she went with bright florals and colors because it was […]
