It’s official… I am OBSESSED with NYC engagement sessions!! I am truly blessed to have clients who are willing to fly me to beautiful destinations for their engagement sessions and NYC has officially stolen my heart. Every time I visit, I fall even more in love with it and, honestly, I’d LOVE to start shooting weddings up there. There is something so beautiful + romantic about the city – and it makes my architecture loving heart so happy!! So, if anyone in New York City needs an engagement and/or wedding photographer, please… CALL ME!! Let’s make some wedding magic in NYC!
Erin + Benjamin’s engagement session was so much fun! I got to shoot in a different area of the city that I’ve never really visited before – downtown Manhattan – and I absolutely loved it! We started the evening at South Street Seaport, which is so stinking adorable! The architecture in NYC is just stunning and I loved being so close to the water. Those views of the Brooklyn Bridge?! I was DYING!! So picturesque and so classic New York.
As we made our way to Pier A, it started to rain… but that didn’t stop us from creating some beautiful photos by the water. It was actually quite romantic, capturing the two of them together in the rain. It felt like we had the place to ourselves! I’m already so excited for their big day next fall in Charleston. Here are some of my favorite images from Erin + Benjamin’s destination engagement session in New York City…

There was an ease to Allyson and Brian’s wedding day that made it such a joy to photograph. From the moment I arrived at The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, everything felt relaxed, intentional, and centered on what mattered most: celebrating their marriage with the people they love. No overcomplicated timeline, no unnecessary stress – […]

After three years of being engaged and originally planning a much larger wedding, Allison and Jake decided to take a different path. Instead of a big celebration, they chose an intimate wedding day centered around what mattered most to them: each other and the people they love most. With just 19 guests in attendance – […]

When a place has been woven into your family’s traditions for years, there’s something especially meaningful about beginning your marriage there. For Addison, Kiawah Island has been a beloved part of life since childhood. So when it came time to choose a wedding location, bringing family and friends together on the island where so many […]

Charleston weather likes to keep everyone on their toes, but even by Lowcountry standards, Caroline and Cody’s wedding day was memorable. Rain fell for most of the day – a rarity in Charleston, especially when it seems determined to stick around from morning until ceremony time. Yet through every forecast update, timeline adjustment, and weather-related […]

Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details. Others are beautiful because of the people. Ansley and James’ wedding in Columbia, South Carolina was the rare combination of both. After seven years together, these two gathered their favorite people for a celebration that felt joyful, colorful, and completely centered on the relationships that matter […]

Maren and Kevin’s wedding at Ford Field + River Club in Savannah was the kind of day that felt effortlessly relaxed from beginning to end. Set beneath the Spanish moss and overlooking the water, every part of their celebration embraced the natural beauty of the Lowcountry while still feeling elegant, colorful, and incredibly inviting. Living […]
