Amy + Jake’s waterfront Charleston wedding at Lowndes Grove was the perfect reflection of them as a couple: elegant, classy, and glamorous. The ladies of Pure Luxe Bride took Amy’s vision and brought it to life with a beautiful design and amazing florals by Branch Design Studio. They had such fun details including Amy’s stunning illusion lace gown with an extended train, her bright blue Manolos, Jake’s colorful bowtie + tiger striped shoes, a custom monogram on their outdoor bar, and a classic color palette of black, white, green, gold + varying shades of pink. The entire day was pure joy and I had so much fun spending time with Amy, Jake, their adorable baby Kennedy, and their closest family + friends.
We started their day downtown with a First Look off-site, since Amy + Jake really wanted to have some portraits together in historic Charleston. We found some INCREDIBLE spots for portraits and they are honestly some of my all-time favorites! After portraits downtown, we headed back to Lowndes Grove for bridal party photos and before we knew it, they were saying “I do” in a beautiful ceremony overlooking the Ashley River. Sunset was AMAZING and we grabbed some more portraits on the dock before the party got under way. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone had an absolute blast! At the end of the night, Amy + Jake exited through a tunnel of sparklers and hopped in the car to head off to their after party. It was the perfect ending to a dream wedding day! Here are some of my favorites from Amy + Jake’s stunning Charleston wedding at Lowndes Grove…

Hannah + Matt’s intimate brunch wedding at The Sanctuary on Kiawah was such a special celebration. If there are two things I LOVE, it’s an intimate wedding and brunch! Combine them together and it’s the perfect recipe for a memorable soiree. Can I specialize in brunch weddings? Pretty please?! I just love them! The morning […]
Ashley + Kyle’s wedding day was, in a word, magic. These two share such a beautiful love and I am beyond thankful to have witnessed it first hand. Ashley is pure JOY in human form and she absolutely glows in Kyle’s presence. The way they look at each other and care for each other is […]
From the moment I first spoke to Sandra, I knew her wedding day was going to be something special. She had a clear vision of a day filled with special details, personalized moments, and a celebration of love that was truly unique to her and Matt’s love story. Being in the fashion world, I knew […]
There’s something undeniably magical about Charleston SC. The cobblestone alleyways, the historic charm, and the gentle breeze off of the water – which creates the perfect setting for love to flourish. When I had the opportunity to capture Hannah + Ashley’s engagement session on an overcast day this past September, I knew it would be […]
Hilton Head is a special place to Abby + Greyson, as Abby’s parents live there and she’s been visiting the area for years. I always love how the magic of Hilton Head and Sea Pines brings families together on such an incredible day. This September wedding day at Sea Pines started off with torrential rain […]
Somehow, it’s already February and I just realized that I haven’t posted my year-end recap from 2024. Yikes! Better late than never, I suppose! If I’m being totally honest and transparent, 2024 was a difficult year for me + my mindset. Self-doubt, not knowing where I “fit in”, feeling jealousy of other photographers, and not […]
