Megan + Jamie chose Charleston for their intimate wedding celebration and what a celebration it was?! With only 9 people on the guest list plus Megan’s childhood pastor who flew in from Kentucky to officiate, it was such an amazing day to be a part of and I can’t thank Megan + Jamie – and their families – enough for allowing me to document it all! The day started at Zero George, where everyone was staying and the girls were getting their hair + makeup done. Across town, the guys were getting hot shaves at Old South Barber Spa – what a fun experience to start off the wedding day?! Once everyone was dressed, Megan + Jamie shared a beautiful First Look in the courtyard of Zero George before their families joined us for photos. It was such an amazing group of people and I love how Megan asked everyone to come dressed in neutral shades of beige, white and champagne.
Their long-time family friend + Megan’s childhood pastor, Father Tony, officiated a beautiful ceremony at St Patrick Church and then we got to take Megan + Jamie downtown for some photos before sunset. After portraits downtown, everyone met up on the piazza at Zero George for a celebratory glass of champagne and to share “marriage nuggets” with Megan + Jamie. It was such a special time! Hall’s Chophouse was their final destination of the evening, where they cut into their beautiful monogrammed wedding cake and then shared their First Dance in the lobby bar. The perfect ending to an amazing day. Here are some of my favorites from Megan + Jamie’s fabulous intimate Charleston wedding…

When Katie first told me about her wedding day vision – a classic brunch wedding overlooking the water at the iconic Ocean Course on Kiawah Island – I knew it was going to be such a beautiful celebration. There really isn’t anything like a Kiawah Island wedding! A custom Modern Trousseau ball gown, topped with […]
I met up with Dawn + Joey in February for their beautiful engagement session here in Charleston. They brought their two beautiful pups, Willow + Cricket, along for part of the session… and boy, did they have a blast at Hampton Park?!? I am totally OBSESSED with the photos of them walking together (below) because […]
Audra + Rahul’s beautiful traditional Indian wedding in Charleston was definitely one for the books. I absolutely LOVE everything about South Asian/Indian weddings… the colors, the attire, the music, the food, the traditions, the rituals, the family element, the dancing. There really is nothing like it and if I could specialize in shooting only South […]
From the very first time I spoke with Martha Camille, I knew that her Boone Hall wedding was going to be EPIC. I also knew that she was going to be a dream client for me – and she absolutely was! I love all of my couples, but it’s so extra special when someone has […]
When Martha Camille told me that she wanted to recreate her mother’s studio bridal portraits, I’ll admit… I was a little hesitant. I’ve never done studio bridal portraits before and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to bring her vision to life. As a creative, I love doing things that are outside of […]
2023 was definitely one of the best years yet for my business. I had the honor of working with so many fabulous couples, in so many fabulous locations… including Spain, Italy, and Hawaii! I feel extremely lucky that I was able to experience such a tremendous year of growth and travel. Here are some of […]
