It’s always such a treat to photograph a wedding out on Kiawah Island. I just love it out there… it’s so naturally beautiful and there’s just a calm, relaxing vibe on the island. You feel like you’re a world away, even though it’s not too far from downtown Charleston. It’s no wonder that Shannon + Andrew chose to get married there. I loved spending the day with them, their best friends, and their amazing families. They are so loved and they sure do know how to throw an amazing party!
Their day started off with a sweet First Look at the River Course, followed by bridal party photos and family formals. Before we knew it, they were saying “I do” in a gorgeous ceremony overlooking the Kiawah River. Their reception was so fun and the dance floor was packed all night. Their friends and family are amazing dancers and they kept me entertained behind the lens for sure!! Here are some of my favorites from Shannon + Andrew’s gorgeous Kiawah wedding at the River Course…

There’s something so special about photographing a wedding that feels completely, authentically them. Ashley and Hannah’s wedding day at Magnolia Plantation was one of those days – full of laughter, meaning, and so much love. These two made the trip from Charlotte to celebrate their marriage surrounded by family, friends, and their sweet pup, Norman […]

Some weddings are more emotional than others and, for Sarah + Logan, this was especially true. After having to postpone their original wedding date abruptly due to a health scare, they said “I do!” just a year later – and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. They had waited a long time for […]

Lauren + James’ wedding day was one that won’t soon be forgotten. As a nod to their shared love of trying new restaurants, planner + designer extraordinaire, Allison Event Design, created a tented reception space with all of the restaurant-inspired details they love. A statement bar that wowwed guests, a mix of table sizes for […]

Becca + Stephen’s art deco inspired wedding at the American Theatre in downtown Charleston was one for the books! Their day was filled with so much love, joy, and thoughtfulness – I swear, the best weddings are always the ones that are centered around the couple and their family + friends. Sure, pretty details are […]

2025 got off to the very best start with Maggie + Britt! I absolutely ADORE these two and their wedding day was the perfect way to start the new year. Their shared love of the water and all of the natural beauty that the Lowcountry has to offer made the Regatta Inn a no-brainer choice […]

Payton + Connor’s rainy celebration at Lowndes Grove was the PERFECT way to close out the 2024 wedding season. When I first spoke with Payton, she told me that she envisioned a colorful wedding day – despite being married in late December. I LOVE that she went with bright florals and colors because it was […]
