Featuring sweeping covered porches, a light-filled ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a grove of oak trees covered in Spanish Moss, the River Course at Kiawah is a quiet, secluded venue that feels like a vacation.

The River Course at Kiawah is a beautiful clubhouse featuring New England style architecture and stunning views of the Kiawah River.

venue highlight

Since the River Course at Kiawah does not offer any formal getting ready space on-site, I recommend that clients book a hotel or rental home on Kiawah Island that provides plenty of space and ample natural light, so that your hair + makeup team and photographer can spread out and take full advantage of that natural light!

some suggestions for having your wedding at river course at kiawah:

venue features

01

The most popular ceremony site is overlooking the 18th green and the Kiawah River, on the backside of the property.  However, the grove of oaks in the front of the clubhouse is a BEAUTIFUL ceremony space alternative that I've been dying to photograph!

The 5200 square foot ballroom features floor-to-ceiling windows, wood floors, a massive fireplace, and easy access to the back porch, making this space a perfect location to celebrate with family + friends!
