Kaylee + Nick’s wedding day was definitely one for the books. It was officially my longest wedding day to date… my AMAZING team + I shot for 15 hours straight and every minute was jam-packed with beautiful details + smiling faces. Kaylee absolutely LOVES photos and she wanted to utilize a lot of different locations throughout the day, which worked out perfectly thanks to Mother Nature giving us the most perfect overcast day!! The day was a complete blur for me, as my mind raced from shot list to timeline and back again… it was a busy day, for sure, but it was SO GOOD + SO BEAUTIFUL!! Kaylee, Nick, and their amazing family + friends made everything so much fun throughout the day and I loved seeing the smiles on Kaylee + Nick’s faces all day long. With the help of her mother, Kaylee’s vision came to life and it was definitely a day I’ll never forget!!
Their day started with a sweet First Look at Six Oaks Cemetery, followed by a few portraits there. Then we headed over to Kaylee’s parents home on the water for a First Look with her Dad, photos with their dog Bodie, some family photos + more portraits overlooking the marsh. Afterwards, we headed to the clubhouse where we met up with the bridal party + family for group photos. This was probably my favorite time of the day because everyone was so relaxed and happy… and everyone listened SO WELL!!! The location was beautiful… I just LOVE the front of the clubhouse and I’m glad the lighting turned out to be gorgeous for us.
Kaylee + Nick said “I do!” in a sweet ceremony at the nearby church before heading back to the clubhouse for their reception. The reception space was STUNNING!! I don’t think the photos do it justice, to be honest. It was simply breathtaking. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone was having so much fun celebrating the newlyweds. At the end of the night, Kaylee + Nick exited through a tunnel of sparklers and hopped into their getaway car. It was the perfect ending to an amazing day. Here are some of my favorites from Kaylee + Nick’s gorgeous winter wedding at Sea Pines Resort…

There was an ease to Allyson and Brian’s wedding day that made it such a joy to photograph. From the moment I arrived at The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, everything felt relaxed, intentional, and centered on what mattered most: celebrating their marriage with the people they love. No overcomplicated timeline, no unnecessary stress – […]

After three years of being engaged and originally planning a much larger wedding, Allison and Jake decided to take a different path. Instead of a big celebration, they chose an intimate wedding day centered around what mattered most to them: each other and the people they love most. With just 19 guests in attendance – […]

When a place has been woven into your family’s traditions for years, there’s something especially meaningful about beginning your marriage there. For Addison, Kiawah Island has been a beloved part of life since childhood. So when it came time to choose a wedding location, bringing family and friends together on the island where so many […]

Charleston weather likes to keep everyone on their toes, but even by Lowcountry standards, Caroline and Cody’s wedding day was memorable. Rain fell for most of the day – a rarity in Charleston, especially when it seems determined to stick around from morning until ceremony time. Yet through every forecast update, timeline adjustment, and weather-related […]

Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details. Others are beautiful because of the people. Ansley and James’ wedding in Columbia, South Carolina was the rare combination of both. After seven years together, these two gathered their favorite people for a celebration that felt joyful, colorful, and completely centered on the relationships that matter […]

Maren and Kevin’s wedding at Ford Field + River Club in Savannah was the kind of day that felt effortlessly relaxed from beginning to end. Set beneath the Spanish moss and overlooking the water, every part of their celebration embraced the natural beauty of the Lowcountry while still feeling elegant, colorful, and incredibly inviting. Living […]
