It is the absolute greatest compliment I could ever receive when past clients of mine recommend me to their family + friends. I’ve been so lucky over the past few years! I had the honor of photographing David’s cousin Chase’s wedding two years ago in Charleston, so it was like a family reunion of sorts at Jordan + David’s wedding in Athens, Georgia. There were so many familiar faces and I’m honestly still on cloud nine after this incredible destination wedding! Traveling to new places is such a thrill for me, so I’m always thankful when clients are willing to bring me in to a new city.
Jordan + David met at the University of Georgia, so it only made sense that they would return “home” to get married. Although they live in Texas currently, it was clear to me just how much Athens means to them as a couple. Jordan + David wanted to make sure that we got photos on the UGA campus, so we started their day with a sweet First Look in front of the chapel on North Campus – followed by portraits around the quad. These are seriously some of my FAVORITE portraits ever!! Jordan’s classic ballgown was so simple, but completely breathtaking. One of my all-time favorite dresses FOR SURE!!
After portraits, we met up with their bridal party at the church for group photos and, before long, Jordan + David were saying “I do!” in front of their family + friends. Their reception was held at this really fun venue called The Foundry, which is actually a live music venue. The ballrooms looked amazing thanks to gorgeous florals by Amy Osaba and their band was incredible. The dance floor was completely packed all night long!! At the end of the night, Jordan + David exited through a tunnel of guests as they tossed rose petals in celebration of the newlyweds. I had the most amazing time at this wedding and I’m just so thankful for the opportunity to travel + photograph such amazing couples!! Congratulations, you guys! Here are some of my favorites from Jordan + David’s romantic downtown Athens, Georgia wedding…

Hannah + Matt’s intimate brunch wedding at The Sanctuary on Kiawah was such a special celebration. If there are two things I LOVE, it’s an intimate wedding and brunch! Combine them together and it’s the perfect recipe for a memorable soiree. Can I specialize in brunch weddings? Pretty please?! I just love them! The morning […]
Ashley + Kyle’s wedding day was, in a word, magic. These two share such a beautiful love and I am beyond thankful to have witnessed it first hand. Ashley is pure JOY in human form and she absolutely glows in Kyle’s presence. The way they look at each other and care for each other is […]
From the moment I first spoke to Sandra, I knew her wedding day was going to be something special. She had a clear vision of a day filled with special details, personalized moments, and a celebration of love that was truly unique to her and Matt’s love story. Being in the fashion world, I knew […]
There’s something undeniably magical about Charleston SC. The cobblestone alleyways, the historic charm, and the gentle breeze off of the water – which creates the perfect setting for love to flourish. When I had the opportunity to capture Hannah + Ashley’s engagement session on an overcast day this past September, I knew it would be […]
Hilton Head is a special place to Abby + Greyson, as Abby’s parents live there and she’s been visiting the area for years. I always love how the magic of Hilton Head and Sea Pines brings families together on such an incredible day. This September wedding day at Sea Pines started off with torrential rain […]
Somehow, it’s already February and I just realized that I haven’t posted my year-end recap from 2024. Yikes! Better late than never, I suppose! If I’m being totally honest and transparent, 2024 was a difficult year for me + my mindset. Self-doubt, not knowing where I “fit in”, feeling jealousy of other photographers, and not […]
