Jessica + Mike traveled to Charleston from their hometown of Chicago to celebrate their wedding with their closest family + friends. They chose the Grand Bohemian Hotel in historic downtown Charleston and it was the perfect venue for their classic formal affair. The bridesmaids + groomsmen all wore black, while Jessica stunned in a beautiful lace + tulle gown and I absolutely LOVED Mike’s all black ensemble! They looked absolutely incredible together and thankfully Mother Nature decided to play nice, so we were able to take full advantage of the surrounding area for photos.
Their ceremony was so sweet and the party that followed was pretty epic. The dance floor was completely packed all night long, as Jessica + Mike celebrated with their closest family + friends. It was amazing to see them surrounded by so much love and support all day long! Here are some of my favorites from Jessica + Mike’s beautiful downtown Charleston wedding at the Grand Bohemian Hotel…

There’s something so special about photographing a wedding that feels completely, authentically them. Ashley and Hannah’s wedding day at Magnolia Plantation was one of those days – full of laughter, meaning, and so much love. These two made the trip from Charlotte to celebrate their marriage surrounded by family, friends, and their sweet pup, Norman […]

Some weddings are more emotional than others and, for Sarah + Logan, this was especially true. After having to postpone their original wedding date abruptly due to a health scare, they said “I do!” just a year later – and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. They had waited a long time for […]

Lauren + James’ wedding day was one that won’t soon be forgotten. As a nod to their shared love of trying new restaurants, planner + designer extraordinaire, Allison Event Design, created a tented reception space with all of the restaurant-inspired details they love. A statement bar that wowwed guests, a mix of table sizes for […]

Becca + Stephen’s art deco inspired wedding at the American Theatre in downtown Charleston was one for the books! Their day was filled with so much love, joy, and thoughtfulness – I swear, the best weddings are always the ones that are centered around the couple and their family + friends. Sure, pretty details are […]

2025 got off to the very best start with Maggie + Britt! I absolutely ADORE these two and their wedding day was the perfect way to start the new year. Their shared love of the water and all of the natural beauty that the Lowcountry has to offer made the Regatta Inn a no-brainer choice […]

Payton + Connor’s rainy celebration at Lowndes Grove was the PERFECT way to close out the 2024 wedding season. When I first spoke with Payton, she told me that she envisioned a colorful wedding day – despite being married in late December. I LOVE that she went with bright florals and colors because it was […]
