Whenever my work is chosen for a feature, I do a little happy dance. I know that editors go through hundreds, if not thousands, of submissions each month… and when it comes to print features, only about 5-10 of those submissions get chosen. It’s always such an honor to have my work featured, whether it’s online or in print… but it’s always extra special when my work graces the pages of Charleston Weddings Magazine. There are just SO MANY fabulous photographers and gorgeous weddings here in Charleston… whenever one of my couples’ wedding day is showcased, it makes me so happy!
Kate + Mike’s modern, chic summer wedding at the Rice Mill was definitely one of the most unique weddings I’ve ever photographed. Bride Kate is an interior designer and she worked closely with one of my very favorite planners in Charleston, Lauren of ELM Events, to create a modern design that was so much fun to photograph! From the lucite chairs, fun lounge areas, living chandelier, and the use of palms… it was a showstopper, for sure! Check it out in the latest issue of Charleston Weddings Magazine, on newsstands now!
