Lindsay + Colin are some of my very favorite humans EVER and their wedding day was one that I would gladly shoot over and over again for the rest of my life. Seriously. You know when you just click with some people? Lindsay + Colin are those people. And I am forever grateful that they chose me to document their amazing wedding day.
They decided to get married at her childhood home, a beautiful spot on the water on James Island. The first time I set foot on their property, I immediately understood why Lauren wanted to get married here. Their property is STUNNING and the huge live oak in their backyard was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony.
It was very important to Lindsay + Colin that their wedding day was effortless and relaxed. Their naturally cool + calm demeanors were reflected in the timeline of their day. We gave them plenty of time for photos with their friends + family, while also making sure there was time for them to breathe and just “be”. To take it all in together. Watching them embrace the day and focus on their friends + families was such a joy. They made the day theirs – something I wish all of my clients would do. No fanfare, no fuss. Just a kickass party with the people that matter the most to them!
After a sweet ceremony officiated by Lindsay’s brother, they spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor together and let me tell you… it was one of the best dance parties I have EVER witnessed! At one point in the night, it started raining – and everyone just embraced it, dancing on the alfresco dance floor while raindrops fell around them. It is weddings like these that remind me how lucky I am to do what I do and how lucky I am to witness true love. Lindsay + Colin, you guys are literally the BEST and I can’t wait to follow your journey together. Here’s to years and years of belly laughs and epic dance moves!

Hannah + Matt’s intimate brunch wedding at The Sanctuary on Kiawah was such a special celebration. If there are two things I LOVE, it’s an intimate wedding and brunch! Combine them together and it’s the perfect recipe for a memorable soiree. Can I specialize in brunch weddings? Pretty please?! I just love them! The morning […]
Ashley + Kyle’s wedding day was, in a word, magic. These two share such a beautiful love and I am beyond thankful to have witnessed it first hand. Ashley is pure JOY in human form and she absolutely glows in Kyle’s presence. The way they look at each other and care for each other is […]
From the moment I first spoke to Sandra, I knew her wedding day was going to be something special. She had a clear vision of a day filled with special details, personalized moments, and a celebration of love that was truly unique to her and Matt’s love story. Being in the fashion world, I knew […]
There’s something undeniably magical about Charleston SC. The cobblestone alleyways, the historic charm, and the gentle breeze off of the water – which creates the perfect setting for love to flourish. When I had the opportunity to capture Hannah + Ashley’s engagement session on an overcast day this past September, I knew it would be […]
Hilton Head is a special place to Abby + Greyson, as Abby’s parents live there and she’s been visiting the area for years. I always love how the magic of Hilton Head and Sea Pines brings families together on such an incredible day. This September wedding day at Sea Pines started off with torrential rain […]
Somehow, it’s already February and I just realized that I haven’t posted my year-end recap from 2024. Yikes! Better late than never, I suppose! If I’m being totally honest and transparent, 2024 was a difficult year for me + my mindset. Self-doubt, not knowing where I “fit in”, feeling jealousy of other photographers, and not […]
