There are a handful of weddings that I’ve photographed in my career that rank in a category all their own. Weddings so elaborate, so detail oriented, and so insanely stunning that they are almost overwhelming. Weddings where you feel like your photos could never do it justice. Andra + Matt’s wedding was one of those weddings. I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped when I saw her ceremony site for the first time. And the reception tent? HOLY MOLY!!! Every part of their wedding day was so thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed. From their stunning invitation suite, the inclusion of her Latvian heritage in their ceremony + reception, their bright + colorful Sinatra cocktail hour set up, their gorgeous ceremony site complete with wooden church pews + dramatic draping, and their elegant reception space complete with lavish lounges, custom draping, stunning lighting installations, and beautiful florals… it was definitely one of the most amazing weddings I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing! Not only that, but Andra + Matt are two of the most kind, fun-loving, and amazing people. It was literally a dream to be a part of this day!
We started their day with a sweet First Look in the Wedding Garden, followed by some portraits around the gorgeous grounds of the Legare Waring House. We were joined by their bridal party and I absolutely LOVED how each bridesmaid held a bouquet comprised of one single type of flower. They were all different and Andra’s bouquet was a combination of them all… such a fun detail! Andra + Matt said “I do!” under the majestic Wedding Tree in a ceremony that incorporated Andra’s Latvian heritage. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed cocktail hour where they only played music by Frank Sinatra and I absolutely LOVED their cocktail hour decor!! Give me bright colors + florals ALL DAY LONG!! Guests were invited into the tented reception under the Avenue of Oaks and everyone’s jaw dropped as they took in the gorgeous chandeliers draped in greenery, custom draping, romantic floral arrangements, and the sheer elegance of the space. It was mesmerizing! Throughout the night, the dance floor was packed and I’ve honestly never seen a group of people rock out to a medley of Backstreet Boys hits with more passion than these people. I mean, I was belting it out behind the camera too!! No shame!! It was an amazing evening and I am so honored to have been the one chosen to document it all. Here are some of my favorites from Andra + Matt’s romantic + elegant Charleston wedding at the Legare Waring House…

Bridal portraits offer a rare pause in the wedding season – a moment to step away from timelines and celebrations and focus entirely on the bride herself. Bri’s bridal portrait session took place at a private residence in downtown Charleston, and the setting could not have been more perfect. Rich teal walls, layered textures, patterned […]

Some wedding days just feel easy in the best possible way – not because nothing is happening, but because everything unfolds exactly as it should, surrounded by the people who matter most. Dana and Hayden’s celebration at Cannon Green was exactly that kind of day. The morning began at their home here in Charleston, a […]

Taylor and Clay’s wedding at the The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort felt like a natural extension of who they are – thoughtful, intentional, and deeply rooted in what they love most. Traveling to South Carolina from central Missouri, the two share a connection that’s been shaped in many ways by the game […]

Ava and Alex’s wedding day felt like the perfect blend of classic elegance and genuine, unfiltered joy – the kind of celebration where every moment feels light, meaningful, and deeply felt all at once. The two now call Greenville home, and their season leading up to the wedding was a full one. Ava just graduated […]

Tucked into the heart of historic downtown Charleston, Bri and Brett’s wedding felt less like an event and more like being invited into something deeply personal. Hosted at a private residence South of Broad – a home Bri knows well, as she manages the property for the owners – the setting carried a level of […]

Kendal and Alec’s wedding day at Sea Pines Resort felt relaxed, joyful, and beautifully personal from beginning to end. With close family and friends gathered on Hilton Head Island, their celebration was intentionally small – the kind of wedding where every guest feels deeply connected to the couple and the reason everyone is there. While […]
