Staci + Mark’s vision for their wedding day was a joyful celebration centered around their families + closest friends. Thanks to the team at MOD Events, that’s exactly what they got! Staci is a girl after my own heart who loves color and details – so I was totally in my element. Her beautiful bouquet by Festoon was a showstopper and I love the Lithuanian ribbon that was tied around the stems. And the blue patterned china? So so fun!
Their wedding party consisted of their children – each of them have 2 children from previous marriages – and I LOVED exploring downtown with the 6 of them before the ceremony! The girls wore gorgeous LulaKate dresses and the guys all looked so handsome in their blue gray suits. And let’s take a moment to swoon over Staci’s dress! Instead of a traditional veil, she wore an incredible bridal cape and it was EVERYTHING!! Such an incredible spin on an old tradition and I am here for it!
In a beautiful ceremony in the garden of 20 South Battery, officiated by their best friend, Staci + Mark said “I do”. The location was absolutely STUNNING and the garden set the perfect scene for cocktail hour. Afterwards, guests boarded a trolley and headed to the dock to board The Carolina Girl for the reception.
This was my first time aboard The Carolina Girl and WOW. What a fun idea for a reception?! The weather was beautiful and everyone had an incredible time as the boat meandered along the Charleston waterways. Sunset was beautiful and I just loved this laid back + unique experience that Staci + Mark planned for their guests. I truly am so lucky to be invited into my couples’ wedding days. This one was a celebration I’ll never forget! Congratulations you guys and THANK YOU for allowing me to capture this day for you + your families!! Cheers!!

I was introduced to Cait through former DCW bride and fellow photographer, Lindsay, who had worked with Cait previously, but was not available for her wedding day. I’m SO thankful that Lindsay connected us because I immediately fell in love with Cait and her vision for a sweet, intimate wedding celebration in Charleston. Caitlin’s parents […]
When Katie first told me about her wedding day vision – a classic brunch wedding overlooking the water at the iconic Ocean Course on Kiawah Island – I knew it was going to be such a beautiful celebration. There really isn’t anything like a Kiawah Island wedding! A custom Modern Trousseau ball gown, topped with […]
I met up with Dawn + Joey in February for their beautiful engagement session here in Charleston. They brought their two beautiful pups, Willow + Cricket, along for part of the session… and boy, did they have a blast at Hampton Park?!? I am totally OBSESSED with the photos of them walking together (below) because […]
Audra + Rahul’s beautiful traditional Indian wedding in Charleston was definitely one for the books. I absolutely LOVE everything about South Asian/Indian weddings… the colors, the attire, the music, the food, the traditions, the rituals, the family element, the dancing. There really is nothing like it and if I could specialize in shooting only South […]
From the very first time I spoke with Martha Camille, I knew that her Boone Hall wedding was going to be EPIC. I also knew that she was going to be a dream client for me – and she absolutely was! I love all of my couples, but it’s so extra special when someone has […]
When Martha Camille told me that she wanted to recreate her mother’s studio bridal portraits, I’ll admit… I was a little hesitant. I’ve never done studio bridal portraits before and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to bring her vision to life. As a creative, I love doing things that are outside of […]
