Lauren + Matt’s wedding day was absolutely magical. Honestly, from my very first conversation with Lauren and chatting about her wedding day vision, I knew that this particular celebration was going to be a really special one. This was my first time photographing a wedding at Magnolia Way, a stunning venue located in Eastover SC – just outside of Columbia SC. I absolutely LOVE this venue! The property is so beautiful and the getting ready spaces for both the guys and girls are great. Anytime I shoot a wedding where everything is in the same spot and we don’t have to figure out travel and transportation, it just makes things so much easier!
Lauren + Matt started their day with a sweet First Look on the epic front porch at Magnolia Way, followed by group photos with their best friends. The sun peeked in and out of the clouds throughout the morning until clouds settled in for the rest of the day – creating the most DREAMY lighting!! They said “I do!” on the front lawn, then spent the evening partying and dancing with their family + friends.
With about an hour left in their wedding reception, a huge storm rolled in and let me tell you – I’ve NEVER seen so much rain!! The tent was flooded with 2-3 inches of rain water and the band’s equipment got so wet that they couldn’t continue to play. But that didn’t stop the party!! Lauren + Matt jumped on stage and sang at the top of their lungs with their guests until an iPod could be hooked up to the sound system. Truly, the most epic end of a reception I’ve ever witnessed… and they handled this crazy situation with laughter and grace.
I absolutely loved my day with Lauren + Matt, so here are some of my favorites from their incredible spring wedding at Magnolia Way… enjoy!

Maren and Kevin’s wedding at Ford Field + River Club in Savannah was the kind of day that felt effortlessly relaxed from beginning to end. Set beneath the Spanish moss and overlooking the water, every part of their celebration embraced the natural beauty of the Lowcountry while still feeling elegant, colorful, and incredibly inviting. Living […]

Bridal portraits offer a rare pause in the wedding season – a moment to step away from timelines and celebrations and focus entirely on the bride herself. Bri’s bridal portrait session took place at a private residence in downtown Charleston, and the setting could not have been more perfect. Rich teal walls, layered textures, patterned […]

Some wedding days just feel easy in the best possible way – not because nothing is happening, but because everything unfolds exactly as it should, surrounded by the people who matter most. Dana and Hayden’s celebration at Cannon Green was exactly that kind of day. The morning began at their home here in Charleston, a […]

Taylor and Clay’s wedding at the The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort felt like a natural extension of who they are – thoughtful, intentional, and deeply rooted in what they love most. Traveling to South Carolina from central Missouri, the two share a connection that’s been shaped in many ways by the game […]

Ava and Alex’s wedding day felt like the perfect blend of classic elegance and genuine, unfiltered joy – the kind of celebration where every moment feels light, meaningful, and deeply felt all at once. The two now call Greenville home, and their season leading up to the wedding was a full one. Ava just graduated […]

Tucked into the heart of historic downtown Charleston, Bri and Brett’s wedding felt less like an event and more like being invited into something deeply personal. Hosted at a private residence South of Broad – a home Bri knows well, as she manages the property for the owners – the setting carried a level of […]
