Welcome to the longest wedding blog post ever…
From the very beginning, I knew Francesca placed wedding photography high on her priority list. She was super diligent in researching local wedding photographers for her wedding and I was seriously humbled to be considered amongst such talent. I was flabbergasted when she got back to me and said that I was the wedding photographer for her. I was equal parts ecstatic + terrified, knowing just how important this day and these photos were to her.
Honestly, every photographer dreams of working with clients like Francesca + Brendan. I absolutely cannot find an adequate way to express my gratitude to them for allowing me to be a part of this amazing day. I am beyond honored to have been there with them, documenting their wedding day from start to finish. This is a wedding, a day, a couple, and a family that I will NEVER forget and all I can really say is… thank you.
When a client places their complete trust in you as a professional, amazing things happen. I absolutely loved collaborating with Francesca on every single aspect of their day from a photographic perspective. Being able to provide input about lighting, transportation, timeline, and photo locations was great and it really gave me the freedom to ensure we were set up for success from the start. Francesca trusted me to create a beautiful story of their wedding day through photos and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to do so on “my” terms. From the very first time I met Francesca + chatted with her about her wedding day vision, I knew this wedding was going to be something special – and, dare I say, pivotal in my career. I’ve photographed beautiful weddings before, but nothing on this level – with this much freedom – and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Everything Francesca spoke about during our initial conversations was brought to life by the amazing team at Yoj Events. No detail was overlooked and it was the perfect day for Francesca + Brendan to celebrate with their friends + family.
Francesca + Brendan’s entire wedding day timeline was built around photography and we were SO lucky that the forecasted rain cleared out of town for their big day. After their beautiful First Look on Chalmers Street, we looped around the block and grabbed some beautiful portraits before meeting the bridal party for group photos. With a quick stop at Hampton Park before heading to St Luke’s for the ceremony, everyone was feeling happy + relaxed… as everyone should on their wedding day! I was left completely breathless as I viewed Francesca + Brendan’s reception space for the first time. It was INCREDIBLE. Quiana Parler kept the dance floor packed all night and it was just the most perfect wedding day in every way. Here are some of my favorites from their beautiful day…
