Two weeks ago, I met up with Lindsay + Allen in downtown Charleston for their engagement session. I first met Lindsay in 2015 when she asked me to meet her for coffee. She was a photographer, living in New York at the time, and she had been following me + my work for some time. We talked about photography and life in Charleston since she was hoping to make the move to SC soon. I am beyond humbled that she chose me and I absolutely cannot wait for their beautiful wedding this December at Lowndes Grove. I just know it’s going to be such an amazing day!! So without further ado, here are some of my favorites from Lindsay + Allen’s beautiful downtown Charleston engagement session, with a special appearance by their handsome pup, Finley…

I feel extremely lucky that I was able to experience such a tremendous year of growth and travel. Here are some of […]

Surrounded by their closest family + friends, their day was everything that Caitlyn […]
When I first started second shooting in 2011, I’ll admit… I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I was pretty good with my camera, technically. I could shoot in manual mode and had some understanding of flash. However, I wasn’t entirely sure of my role as a second shooter and had no idea exactly […]
Lowndes Grove is a magical venue for romantic bridal portraits. The house is bathed in gorgeous light, thanks to the large windows throughout. It has plenty of indoor space that you can use in case of inclement weather. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a classic style that complements the overall aesthetic of the property. […]
This post may be a year late, BUT I wanted to share some of my favorite wedding and engagement photos from 2022. It’s always such a treat to go back and see all of the amazing weddings I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of – and all of the amazing couples I’ve worked […]
When Callie told me that she wanted to do her bridal portraits out on Isle of Palms, at an incredible home that they would be renting for getting ready on the wedding day, I was so excited. Not only would we be able to create beautiful portraits of Callie – but I’d also get a […]
