I don’t think I could love a couple any more than I love Haley + Dillard. From the very first time I met them, we just clicked and it has been such a joy + honor to work with them over the past year. On a gorgeous July day, they said “I do!” beneath a beautiful custom made cross overlooking the Stono River and it was pure perfection.
Haley + Dillard opted for a First Look, which is always a good idea – but it’s an especially good idea in the summer, when AC breaks are crucial. Haley looked amazing in her gorgeous lace Stella York gown and her bridesmaids looked stunning in their long, flowing bridesmaid dresses by Mori Lee. The guys looked great in navy suits with coordinating pink bowties. Let me just say… this was one good looking bridal party! Haley + Dillard chose the PERFECT color palette for this coastal venue!
Following a beautiful ceremony on the back lawn, guests enjoyed cocktail hour at the front of the house before heading under the tent for the reception. I was lucky enough to sneak away with Haley + Dillard later in the evening for some photos on the nearby dock and they are some of my absolute favorites!! Guests dined on traditional Southern fare and danced the night away to amazing music by Stephen Darby. At the end of the night, Haley + Dillard exited through a tunnel of glow sticks. It was just an amazing day and here are some of my favorites from their beautiful wedding day…

When Martha Camille told me that she wanted to recreate her mother’s studio bridal portraits, I’ll admit… I was a little hesitant. I’ve never done studio bridal portraits before and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to bring her vision to life. As a creative, I love doing things that are outside of […]
2023 was definitely one of the best years yet for my business. I had the honor of working with so many fabulous couples, in so many fabulous locations… including Spain, Italy, and Hawaii! I feel extremely lucky that I was able to experience such a tremendous year of growth and travel. Here are some of […]
This colorful winter wedding at Sea Pines Resort was the perfect way to start 2024. On one of the coldest days of the year, Caitlyn + Mark said “I do!” on the iconic 18th lawn at Harbourtown Links, overlooking the Calibogue Sound. Surrounded by their closest family + friends, their day was everything that Caitlyn […]
When I first started second shooting in 2011, I’ll admit… I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I was pretty good with my camera, technically. I could shoot in manual mode and had some understanding of flash. However, I wasn’t entirely sure of my role as a second shooter and had no idea exactly […]
Lowndes Grove is a magical venue for romantic bridal portraits. The house is bathed in gorgeous light, thanks to the large windows throughout. It has plenty of indoor space that you can use in case of inclement weather. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a classic style that complements the overall aesthetic of the property. […]
This post may be a year late, BUT I wanted to share some of my favorite wedding and engagement photos from 2022. It’s always such a treat to go back and see all of the amazing weddings I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of – and all of the amazing couples I’ve worked […]
