Erin + Chase’s wedding day was incredible from start to finish. From Erin’s custom made wedding gown, to Chase’s awesome Brackish Bowtie, to their sweet First Look in downtown Charleston, and epic photos under the majestic Avenue of Oaks at Boone Hall Plantation… no detail was overlooked and it was just so much fun to spend the day with them, their fabulous bridal party + their families. The Cotton Dock was decked out in gorgeous florals and oyster shell accents, hand picked by the brides’ parents in her hometown of Tybee Island, Georgia. The oyster shell bar was hand crafted by the groom + one of his groomsmen and it was a statement piece for sure – and that lounge area?! LOVE!!!
Erin + Chase’s sweet Cockapoo pup Riley joined us for photos and before we knew it, it was time for their beautiful ceremony in front of the gates at Boone Hall. Cocktail hour on the dock overlooking Horlbeck Creek was the quintessential Southern scene and their band kept the party rocking all night! At the end of the night, Erin + Chase exited through a tunnel of sparklers… the perfect ending to an amazing day. Here are some of my favorites from Erin + Chase’s amazing Southern soiree at Boone Hall Plantation…

When Martha Camille told me that she wanted to recreate her mother’s studio bridal portraits, I’ll admit… I was a little hesitant. I’ve never done studio bridal portraits before and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to bring her vision to life. As a creative, I love doing things that are outside of […]
2023 was definitely one of the best years yet for my business. I had the honor of working with so many fabulous couples, in so many fabulous locations… including Spain, Italy, and Hawaii! I feel extremely lucky that I was able to experience such a tremendous year of growth and travel. Here are some of […]
This colorful winter wedding at Sea Pines Resort was the perfect way to start 2024. On one of the coldest days of the year, Caitlyn + Mark said “I do!” on the iconic 18th lawn at Harbourtown Links, overlooking the Calibogue Sound. Surrounded by their closest family + friends, their day was everything that Caitlyn […]
When I first started second shooting in 2011, I’ll admit… I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I was pretty good with my camera, technically. I could shoot in manual mode and had some understanding of flash. However, I wasn’t entirely sure of my role as a second shooter and had no idea exactly […]
Lowndes Grove is a magical venue for romantic bridal portraits. The house is bathed in gorgeous light, thanks to the large windows throughout. It has plenty of indoor space that you can use in case of inclement weather. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a classic style that complements the overall aesthetic of the property. […]
This post may be a year late, BUT I wanted to share some of my favorite wedding and engagement photos from 2022. It’s always such a treat to go back and see all of the amazing weddings I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of – and all of the amazing couples I’ve worked […]
