Annie + Matt’s wedding day was absolutely incredible. The weather couldn’t have been better and we were ahead of schedule all day… I mean, it was perfection. Everyone was so happy and helpful throughout the day… the perfect blend of Southern hospitality and Canadian kindness. Yup, that’s right… Annie hails from North Carolina and Matt is from Toronto, so their wedding was the perfect blend of both of their personalities!
Annie + Matt shared a sweet First Look under the Avenue of Oaks before their bridal party arrived for group photos. Before long, Annie + Matt were saying “I do!” on the Cotton Dock overlooking Horlbeck Creek. After they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, Annie’s brother in law (who officiated the ceremony) “Iced” Matt and everyone was laughing so hard. It was such a fun moment to close out their beautiful ceremony.
Guests were treated to a seated dinner, then the dance floor opened and it was an INSANE dance party. Annie’s childhood friend, Josh, brought his band from Nashville to play for the evening and it was so much fun! Everyone had such a great time and the music was amazing! At the end of the night, Annie + Matt exited through a tunnel of sparklers… the perfect ending to an incredible day. Here are some of my favorites from Annie + Matt’s beautiful fall wedding at Boone Hall…

When Martha Camille told me that she wanted to recreate her mother’s studio bridal portraits, I’ll admit… I was a little hesitant. I’ve never done studio bridal portraits before and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to bring her vision to life. As a creative, I love doing things that are outside of […]
2023 was definitely one of the best years yet for my business. I had the honor of working with so many fabulous couples, in so many fabulous locations… including Spain, Italy, and Hawaii! I feel extremely lucky that I was able to experience such a tremendous year of growth and travel. Here are some of […]
This colorful winter wedding at Sea Pines Resort was the perfect way to start 2024. On one of the coldest days of the year, Caitlyn + Mark said “I do!” on the iconic 18th lawn at Harbourtown Links, overlooking the Calibogue Sound. Surrounded by their closest family + friends, their day was everything that Caitlyn […]
When I first started second shooting in 2011, I’ll admit… I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I was pretty good with my camera, technically. I could shoot in manual mode and had some understanding of flash. However, I wasn’t entirely sure of my role as a second shooter and had no idea exactly […]
Lowndes Grove is a magical venue for romantic bridal portraits. The house is bathed in gorgeous light, thanks to the large windows throughout. It has plenty of indoor space that you can use in case of inclement weather. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a classic style that complements the overall aesthetic of the property. […]
This post may be a year late, BUT I wanted to share some of my favorite wedding and engagement photos from 2022. It’s always such a treat to go back and see all of the amazing weddings I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of – and all of the amazing couples I’ve worked […]
